2 Degrés is Quebec’s first incubator dedicated exclusively to supporting new cleantech companies. We support, structure and stimulate the development of clean technology companies with the aim of reducing the economy’s carbon footprint and creating sustainable wealth. To achieve this, we offer a highly specialized and personalized range of support services, mobilizing all our strengths and pooling existing resources and expertise through a large network of partners, experts and collaborators.




Reporting to the Director – Outreach and Development, the Communications and Events Manager will be at the heart of 2 Degrés’ activities and strategic projects. Through the development, coordination and implementation of the organization’s communications strategies, you will play a central role in the outreach, positioning and evolution of the organization. Your responsibilities

  • Develop and implement communication strategies to position 2 Degrés, its incubated entrepreneurs and partners in the media and the public arena.
  • Manage 2 Degrés’ communications initiatives and tools, with the aim of raising its profile and visibility, and supporting its positioning.
  • Design, plan and carry out events or other visibility and publicity activities to promote 2 Degrés, the projects deployed and the companies supported
  • Prepare, write, revise and send out press releases, newsletters, documents and communication tools (correspondence, documents, promotional material, reference documents, videos, etc.).
  • Manage media relations and service providers for communications and events
  • Take charge of organizing cleantech events up to national level
  • Generate visibility opportunities in the media and at events in order to promote and highlight 2 Degrés’ activities and achievements.
  • Monitor and respect marketing budgets
  • Monitor industry news and trends


Job requirements

  • Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in communications, marketing or other relevant discipline
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience (experience in communications, marketing or public relations a strong asset)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of spoken and written French and English
  • Excellent command of communication tools (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, Canva, Hubspot and WordPress)
  • Strong writing and content creation skills
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing environment
  • Excellent organizational, priority, stress and time management skills
  • Rigor, creativity, autonomy and dynamism
