RECYC-QUÉBEC and 2 Degrés join forces to stimulate industrial innovation

RECYC-QUÉBEC and 2 Degrés, an impact incubator dedicated to startups and innovation projects in clean technologies in Quebec, today announced a major three-year, $300,000 partnership aimed at accelerating the development of concrete, measurable industrial solutions in the circular economy.

The partnership targets three key sectors: textiles, construction, renovation and demolition residues, and materials for the energy transition.

A strategic partnership to transform practices

This partnership will take the form of an innovation program combining strategic guidance, financial support and alignment with real industry needs. Recognized for their leadership in the circular economy and environmental innovation, RECYC-QUÉBEC and 2 Degrés aim to create an environment conducive to the emergence of promising projects capable of changing the game in sectors with major transformation needs.

Three priority sectors

The program is designed to identify solutions with high transformation potential, innovations capable of transforming industrial practices and generating rapid, measurable environmental benefits.

• Textiles: Supporting solutions to reduce, reuse and recycle this rapidly growing material.
• Construction, renovation and demolition waste (CRD): Accelerating innovation in a sector responsible for a significant proportion of materials disposed of in Quebec.
• Materials linked to the energy transition: Encouraging circularity in emerging sectors.

Conceived as a genuine lever for transformation, this program offers entrepreneurs and companies a structuring framework for the emergence, testing and acceleration of solutions adapted to the realities of the market and the concrete needs of industry.
