Program objectives

Our water incubation programs are designed to support entrepreneurs in the development of their projects

This specialized incubation program will enable us to respond more precisely to the unique needs of entrepreneurs, by offering them support tailored to the particularities of their market.

The incubation program lasts 12 months, and is structured into four phases: foundation, exploration, validation and consolidation.

Program costs

Our incubation programs provide $60,000 worth of support

Thanks to the support of our organization and our financial partners, a large part of the costs are covered. Participating companies contribute $350 per month (plus taxes) to join our incubation program and benefit from all the resources and services offered.

Gaston Déry

Gaston has worked at the crossroads of economics, the environment, social issues and culture. As CEO of AMBSQ, he initiated the first environmental policy for lumber. He headed SOPFIM and contributed to the Forest Protection Strategy. He stimulated the economy via PÔLE-QCA and promoted sustainable development at Norda Stello and QSL. Recognized with several awards, he now supports startups via 2 Degrés, particularly in the forestry and maritime sectors.

President & CEO

Richard Painchaud

Richard has been president and founder of public and private companies for over 35 years. His academic background in science, combined with his innate business acumen, has enabled many university technologies to be brought to market. Technologies Kourant inc (Kourant) is the most recent of Richard's companies. Kourant commercializes an innovative, patented wastewater treatment technology resulting from over 10 years of research and development by Concordia and Manitoba universities. He has been involved in the cleantech ecosystem for many years, and this participation as an expert for 2 Degrees fits in perfectly with that commitment.
