Project description

Measuring, enhancing and accelerating the environmental impact of cleantech startups

The Environmental Impact Measurement Framework (CIME) aims to provide cleantech startups with concrete, rigorous tools to demonstrate their real potential for environmental impact. By sharing standardized methods for quantifying GHG emission reductions and analyzing the life cycle of their innovations, CIME enables startups to transform intentions into tangible, comparable and recognized data.

Beyond measurement, the initiative plays a key role in the strategic and entrepreneurial development of startups. The project provides specialized training and practical tools to understand, value and effectively communicate this data to potential investors, partners and customers. By strengthening the ability of companies to clearly illustrate their environmental performance, CIME becomes an essential lever for accelerating their growth, increasing their attractiveness on the market and encouraging the adoption of truly transformative solutions.

In short, CIME contributes not only to structuring the environmental impact of innovations, but also to equipping entrepreneurs so that they can integrate impact into the heart of their business model and position themselves as key players in the ecological transition.

Our vision

In Quebec, all innovative startups will be equipped to assess their impact. We will act as a catalyst for change, working with public institutions to review impact performance metrics and success factors for startups. We want to promote and instigate structuring impact initiatives among other ambitious AIEs and SMEs in Quebec.

Business model

Our business model is based on expertise developed through contact with our own startups

We offer a simplified and affordable approach to impact measurement, designed for organizations with limited resources.

Simplified, affordable approach for organizations with limited resources.
Sharing of resources and tools (toolboxes, templates, workshops) that can be used independently or with support.
